Juan Borgo vs Juan Paz

Boxing Daily Report from the Cherry picking promotion’s promoted show at Estadio Libertador Simon Bolivar, La Paz,  taking place on 15/02/2025:

Clearly Cherry picking promotion’s have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Borgo (7 - 0) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Juan Paz(14 - 7(2) - 1) from Cochabamba, Bolivia.  Borgo weighed in at 122 pounds, while Paz weighed in at 121 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Angel Iniguez, and the three ringside judges are Francisco Quintanar, Angel Iniguez and Bronco Cossio.

Paz tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Paz lands a cross.  Paz throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Paz feints a left hook, but Borgo does not fall for it and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Borgo switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Paz pivots to the left of his opponent.  Borgo lands two jabs followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Borgo steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Borgo tries to keep the action at long range and lands a stiff jab.

Paz hits home with a cross.

PAZ IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Borgo!
