Alarik Varonen vs Mehmed Akdemir

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Toolo Sports Hall, Helsinki,  taking place on 13/02/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the European Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MTV Sport 1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alarik Varonen (13(3) - 3(3)) who hails from Turku, Finland and Mehmed Akdemir(13 - 3) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Both Varonen and Akdemir weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Veijo Arajarvi, and the three ringside judges are Ismo Uosukainen, Kauko Lehtinen and Leevi Erola.
