Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at African Gym, Johannesburg,  taking place on 20/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rex Makwarimba (6 - 0) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Joe Mpala(8 - 6 - 3) from Soshanguve, South Africa.  Both Makwarimba and Mpala weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bongani Zungu, and the three ringside judges are Xhosas Kwadwo, Quannell Poku and William Ekstein.
