Floyd Karugaba vs John Kabumba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at YMCA Ground, Kampala,  taking place on 11/02/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Floyd Karugaba (14 - 4) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and John Kabumba(14 - 3(1)) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Karugaba and Kabumba weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Onaedo Odur, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Waheed, Rob Kaana and LeBron Omondi.
