Boxing Daily Report from the Mainza Promotions promoted show at Carlisle Speed, Carlisle,  taking place on 07/02/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are John Leishman (2 - 0) who hails from Bradford, UK and Leeroy Phillip(0 - 1) from London, UK.  Leishman weighed in at 130 pounds, while Phillip weighed in at 129 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Justin Donne, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Dredge, David Duffy and Kenzie Dredge.

Leishman pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Leishman lands a jab.  
Leishman feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Phillip closes the distance.  Leishman connects with a left hook.  Leishman throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Phillip's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
