Jesus Mancera vs Cuba Villafuerte

Boxing Daily Report from the Wonani Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Romero, Guayaquil,  taking place on 15/02/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador-Guayas Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jesus Mancera (18 - 3(1)) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Cuba Villafuerte(9(5) - 0) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Mancera and Villafuerte weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pedro Siman, and the three ringside judges are Luis Cantero, Pedro Solis and Felippe Noa.  

Round 1: 

Villafuerte feints a left hook, and then throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
