Tariq Ghoneim vs Asif Khalid

Boxing Daily Report from the Yarjanyan Promotions promoted show at Syed Ismail Gym, Alexandria,  taking place on 15/02/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Alexandria Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tariq Ghoneim (7 - 4) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Asif Khalid(6 - 3 - 1) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Ghoneim weighed in at 248 pounds and 11 ounces, while Khalid weighed in at 238 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Saad Nadift, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Algahary, Mohsin Baduy and Asif Meshaal.  

Round 1: 

Ghoneim pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ghoneim throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Khalid gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.
