Azam Fawaz vs Amer Al-Awa

Boxing Daily Report from the Chikane Promotions promoted show at Giza Abbas, Giza,  taking place on 15/02/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Egypt-Giza Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Azam Fawaz (7(1) - 3) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Amer Al-Awa(8 - 0) from Giza, Egypt.  Both Fawaz and Al-Awa weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amjad El-Badawi, and the three ringside judges are Imran Kemsit, Amer Racid and Zuffur Gad.  

Round 1: 

Al-Awa is on target with a right hook to Fawaz's body.  
Fawaz steps to the outside.  Fawaz feints a jab, tricking Al-Awa into countering with a right uppercut.  Fawaz springs the trap and counters with  a solid cross.
