Zelipe Tapay vs Eloy Penalver

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Bulacan promoted show at San Jose del Monte Cedillo, San Jose del Monte,  taking place on 20/02/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zelipe Tapay (10(1) - 0) who hails from Dasmarinas, Philippines and Eloy Penalver(5 - 2 - 7) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Tapay and Penalver weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emilio Macalintal, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Malbog, Montego Villalon and Montego Villalon.  

Round 1: 

Tapay is on target with a jab.

Penalver switches the action to the outside.  Tapay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Tapay is looking to close the distance.  Tapay sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Tapay gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Penalver's body.

Tapay manouvers Penalver into a corner.  Tapay lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Penalver dabs at his face checking for damage.
