Karan Gaud vs Leighton Harvard

Boxing Daily Report from the Otu Promotions promoted show at Ian Games Gym, Las Vegas,  taking place on 31/01/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Karan Gaud (0 - 0) who hails from Chennai, India and Leighton Harvard(7 - 6 - 2) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Gaud and Harvard weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Adee, and the three ringside judges are Geoff Gustavsen, Esteban Montesano and Mike Mina.  

Round 1: 

Gaud lands a left hook.  
Gaud steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gaud closes the distance and lands a sharp right hook.  
Harvard attempts to land a cross, but Gaud slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Harvard's ribcage.

Gaud gets on the inside.  Gaud quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gaud lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Gaud holds on to his opponent.  Harvard is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Harvard and breaks the clinch.  
Gaud pivots from in front of his opponent.  Harvard throws a right hook, but Gaud holds on to his opponent.  Gaud uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Harvard behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gaud.  
Gaud gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gaud steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Gaud ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Gaud pushes his forearm into Harvard's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gaud pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Gaud throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Gaud clinches his opponent.  Gaud is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Gaud's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gaud lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Gaud lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Harvard throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Gaud steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Gaud connects with a right uppercut.  
Gaud connects with a firm right hook.  
Gaud steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Harvard's body.  Gaud holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Gaud pushes his forearm into Harvard's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
