Juan Marquina vs Reyes Ruis

Boxing Daily Report from the Adabor Promotions promoted show at Guatemala City Salcedo, Guatemala City,  taking place on 17/02/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Guatemala-Guatemala Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on El Súper Canal, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Marquina (16 - 0) who hails from Villa Nueva, Guatemala and Reyes Ruis(9 - 5 - 1) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.  Both Marquina and Ruis weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alfonso Mosco, and the three ringside judges are Jax Leano, Angel Rentas and Alfonso Mosco.  

Round 1: 

Ruis sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.
