Mel Kidd vs Norman Meidl

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Wales promoted show at Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 19/02/2025:

Clearly AI UK-Wales have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a tournament fight from Ultimate Boxing Cham.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Mel Kidd (7 - 2(1)) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Norman Meidl(7 - 8) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Kidd weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces, while Meidl weighed in at 248 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Terry Lyons, and the three ringside judges are James Musgrave, Gary Rheon and Mark Rhind.
