Kyo Yamamoto vs Nori Koda

Boxing Daily Report from the Aidoo Promotions promoted show at Yutaka Yoshinaga Gym, Fukuyama,  taking place on 20/02/2025:

Clearly Aidoo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyo Yamamoto (3 - 4 - 4) who hails from Kure, Japan and Nori Koda(6 - 9 - 3) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Both Yamamoto and Koda weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Niwa, and the three ringside judges are Nori Oye, Yasushi Saito and Ichiro Otani.  

Round 1: 

Yamamoto lands an overhand right.  
Koda pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.
