Iwao Kawahara vs Iwao Takara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Eiji Shimomura Gym, Yokosuka,  taking place on 20/02/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iwao Kawahara (5 - 5 - 4) who hails from Sagamihara, Japan and Iwao Takara(7 - 12 - 1) from Fujisawa, Japan.  Both Kawahara and Takara weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aoi Kubo, and the three ringside judges are Daiki Takayama, Mitsuru Amari and Hajime Takagi.

Takara gets on the inside.  Takara pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.
