Daiki Tamura vs Ichiro Kataoka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Saitama promoted show at Ace Boxing Gym, Saitama,  taking place on 20/02/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daiki Tamura (9 - 2) who hails from Kawaguchi, Japan and Ichiro Kataoka(7 - 7 - 1) from Tokorozawa, Japan.  Both Tamura and Kataoka weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Tengan, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Noda, Taro Hara and Akira Asai.
