Mick Spence vs Paul McConnel

Boxing Daily Report from the Ceaser promoted show at Lancashire CCC, Manchester,  taking place on 21/02/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Commonwealth Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mick Spence (19 - 3) who hails from Vancouver, Canada and Paul McConnel(16 - 1) from Manchester, UK.  Spence weighed in at 228 pounds And 2 ounces, while McConnel weighed in at 249 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is William Taylor, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Hassan, Ian Sheridan and Nick Monahan.
