Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 01/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Australia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Davie Johnston (9 - 2 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Darryl Albert(15 - 1(1)) from Newcastle, Australia.  Both Johnston and Albert weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Hadjinyan, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Gebbie, Hugh Collins and Alastair MacIntyre.
