Bilal Abu vs Rehan Farooq

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Selangor promoted show at Petaling Jaya Si, Petaling Jaya,  taking place on 23/02/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bilal Abu (12 - 6) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Rehan Farooq(9 - 7 - 4) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Abu weighed in at 115 pounds, while Farooq weighed in at 114 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Zadeh, and the three ringside judges are Haider Nasr, Khalid Shaban and Khalid Wassan.  

Round 1: 

Farooq throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
