Xavier Montellano vs Elias Jesus

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Ecatepec Montejano, Ecatepec,  taking place on 23/02/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xavier Montellano (14 - 5 - 3) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Elias Jesus(9 - 0) from Naucalpan, Mexico.  Both Montellano and Jesus weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Federico Villegas, and the three ringside judges are Hernan Ocon, Lisandro Mancilla and Pablo Mare.
