Cole Smith vs Rob Gorrie

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Simasiku Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 24/02/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cole Smith (13 - 3(1)) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Rob Gorrie(16 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Smith and Gorrie weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd Rease, and the three ringside judges are Rob Horsburgh, Louis Paipa and Aaron Glendinning.
