Rob Hope vs Dillon Malloye

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Oxnard Performing Arts Center, Oxnard,  taking place on 21/03/2025:

Clearly RJM Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Hope (7 - 0) who hails from Sunderland, UK and Dillon Malloye(6 - 2) from Kansas City, USA.  Hope weighed in at 139 pounds And 9 ounces, while Malloye weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Hall, and the three ringside judges are Zafa Rafiq, Bruce Carra and Paul Snedden.  

Round 1: 

Malloye closes the distance.  Hope tries to land a right uppercut, but Malloye blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Hope steps to the outside.  Hope feints a right hook, and then lands a sharp cross to Malloye's body.  
Malloye drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Malloye connects with a cross.  
Hope is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hope tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Malloye steps inside.  Hope is on target with a right hook.  Hope ties up his opponent.  Malloye uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hope's kidney. Malloye is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Hope's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Malloye dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Malloye.  That has caused a minor cut in the corner of the right eye.  .  
Malloye advances into close range and forces Hope to back into the ropes.  Hope throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Hope clinches his opponent.  Malloye is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Malloye.
