Ewan Aulds vs Kiki Pena

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at County Coliseum, El Paso,  taking place on 01/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ewan Aulds (11 - 0) who hails from Louisville, USA and Kiki Pena(11 - 4 - 4) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Aulds and Pena weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Speed, and the three ringside judges are Orlando Merlin, Nicholas Wynne and Asif Farra.  

Round 1: 

Aulds gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Pena quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Aulds tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Aulds lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Aulds clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Aulds pushes his forearm into Pena's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Aulds walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Aulds is on target with a right uppercut.  
Aulds drives a right uppercut into Pena's ribcage.  
Pena lands a right hook.
