Dave Hush vs Bryan Mattie

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 01/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dave Hush (9 - 1) who hails from Perth, Australia and Bryan Mattie(5 - 6) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Hush and Mattie weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Antoni, and the three ringside judges are Leon Kellar, Steven Candreva and Mark Lockie.  

Round 1: 

Hush is looking to keep his distance.  Hush feints a jab and triggers a right uppercut counter from Mattie.  Hush springs the trap and counters with  a sharp cross.
