Ollie Mapisa vs Goos Cloete

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 28/02/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ollie Mapisa (7 - 7 - 4) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Goos Cloete(7 - 1 - 3) from Roodepoort, South Africa.  Mapisa weighed in at 146 pounds And 4 ounces, while Cloete weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ontibile Nyauza, and the three ringside judges are Bernardus Hertzog, Cole Twala and Uba Akamenya.
