Jonathan Lightbody vs David Kiwara

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 11/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the New Zealand-Auckland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Lightbody (11 - 1) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and David Kiwara(9 - 5 - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Lightbody and Kiwara weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Lumsden, and the three ringside judges are John Wigton, James Oakley and Peter Harbert.  

Round 1: 

Kiwara drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Lightbody is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to Kiwara's body.
