Fletcher Mbognou vs Umair Abboud

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Vejlby-Risskov Idrætscenter, Aarhus,  taking place on 29/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the WRBA Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fletcher Mbognou (15(11) - 0) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Umair Abboud(13 - 3(1) - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Mbognou weighed in at 227 pounds and 9 ounces, while Abboud weighed in at 246 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sven Grand, and the three ringside judges are Odo Juergensen, Canute Gissel and Knute Jensen.

Mbognou lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS ABBOUD!  He is back up on his feet at 7.
