David Apted vs Rich Cather

Boxing Daily Report from the Elite Prizefighters promoted show at Manchester Ormond, Manchester,  taking place on 14/02/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are David Apted (5 - 0) who hails from Bristol, UK and Rich Cather(4 - 6 - 1) from London, UK.  Apted weighed in at 240 pounds and 1 ounces, while Cather weighed in at 229 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Barry Dower, and the three ringside judges are Owen Wallace, Sammy Dunkerson and Robert Goff.

Apted walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cather throws a right hook, but Apted clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Apted pushes his forearm into Cather's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Apted lands a sharp right hook.  Apted ties up his opponent.  Apted pushes his forearm into Cather's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Apted to stop fouling.  
Apted gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Apted lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Apted lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Cather throws a left hook, but Apted ties up his opponent.  Apted leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Apted's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Apted quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a sharp jab.
