Tobias Wright vs Cody Pinkerton

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 21/03/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tobias Wright (9 - 8 - 3) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Cody Pinkerton(3 - 6) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Wright and Pinkerton weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Taggert, and the three ringside judges are Barry Forbes, Corey Pait and John Wark.  

Round 1:

Wright steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.
