Jonathan Kaburu vs Amer Kharoti

Boxing Daily Report from the Hacopyan Promotions promoted show at Kampala Rasheed, Kampala,  taking place on 02/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Kampala District Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Kaburu (8 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Amer Kharoti(8 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Kaburu and Kharoti weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd Araptany, and the three ringside judges are Paul Butime, Robert Ngologoza and Shayan Waheed.
