Haaris Awan vs Yutaka Nitta

Boxing Daily Report from the Aidoo Promotions promoted show at Hiroshima Kagawa, Hiroshima,  taking place on 04/03/2025:

Clearly Aidoo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Haaris Awan (1 - 0) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Yutaka Nitta(0 - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Awan and Nitta weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iwao Sando, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Nakata, Takeo Higashi and Ichiro Otani.  

Round 1: 

Awan advances into close range.  Awan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Awan steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Awan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Awan throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Nitta time to recover.  
Nitta advances into close range.  Awan lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Awan ties up his opponent.  Awan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
