Peter Lyons vs Paul Blevins

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Wales promoted show at Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 19/02/2025:

Clearly AI UK-Wales have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Peter Lyons (1 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Paul Blevins(0 - 1) from Leeds, UK.  Both Lyons and Blevins weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Terry Lyons, and the three ringside judges are Gary Rheon, James Musgrave and Mark Rhind.  

Round 1: 

Lyons closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Lyons gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lyons lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Blevins dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Lyons is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Blevins drives a left uppercut into Lyons's liver.  
Lyons advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Lyons is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  Lyons clinches his opponent.  Lyons is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Lyons's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lyons closes the distance and lands a left uppercut.  Lyons holds on to his opponent.  Lyons is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Lyons pushes his forearm into Blevins's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lyons.  
Lyons quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by two right uppercut's to the head.  
Lyons throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Lyons holds on to his opponent.  Lyons pushes his forearm into Blevins's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lyons attempts to land a right hook, but Blevins sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lyons lands a jab.
