Nori Iida vs Mitsuru Kido

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Royal Hotel Hiroshima, Hiroshima,  taking place on 04/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nori Iida (12(8) - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Mitsuru Kido(10(1) - 1(1) - 2) from Kitakyushu, Japan.  Iida weighed in at 135 pounds, while Kido weighed in at 134 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Suda, and the three ringside judges are Goro Tengan, Takeo Higashi and Satoru Fukuda.
