Alen Mbeki vs Nhlakanipho Nomvete

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Popcocks Indoor Sports Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 10/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alen Mbeki (6 - 7 - 4) who hails from Soshanguve, South Africa and Nhlakanipho Nomvete(5 - 3 - 2) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Mbeki and Nomvete weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nwa Ntuli, and the three ringside judges are David Khumalo, Peter Mbalula and Tshepo Nqakula.
