Glynn McClave vs Matt Curvis

Boxing Daily Report from the Goose Hollow Promotions promoted show at MSG Theater, New York City,  taking place on 03/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Glynn McClave (11(1) - 2) who hails from Madison, USA and Matt Curvis(17(6) - 0) from West Valley City, USA.  McClave weighed in at 140 pounds, while Curvis weighed in at 139 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sean Jackson, and the three ringside judges are Davie Cleary, Chris Chisolm and Justin Giancola.  

Round 1: 

Curvis gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Curvis lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Curvis attempts to land a right hook, but McClave slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McClave tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a stinging cross.
