Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Malmo Isstadion, Malmo,  taking place on 13/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the European Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ove Flattum (20(17) - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Aslan Birand(16(11) - 1(1)) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Flattum weighed in at 111 pounds And 11 ounces, while Birand weighed in at 111 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Per Carlberg, and the three ringside judges are Nils Angerman, Neo Stahle and Alexander Lindquist.  

Round 1: 

Flattum is looking to close the distance and lands a sharp right hook.  Flattum throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a VICIOUS right uppercut.  FLATTUM WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Flattum quickly recovers. 
Flattum pivots to the side of his opponent.  Flattum throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Flattum is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Birand steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Flattum slams a nasty left hook into his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE BIRAND WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Flattum is looking to force the stoppage!  Flattum lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING BIRAND DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Flattum lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Birand now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Birand closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Flattum tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Birand attempts to land a cross, but Flattum sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Birand now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Birand manouvers Flattum into the corner.  Flattum whips in a nasty left uppercut to Birand's body.  BIRAND WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Birand is looking to close the distance.  Flattum knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Flattum lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND BIRAND IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.

He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING BIRAND TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!
