Kyo0won Nahm vs Ichiro Tagawa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Ochiai Park Gymnasium, Kasugai,  taking place on 13/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyo0won Nahm (12(7) - 0 - 1) who hails from Gwangju, South Korea and Ichiro Tagawa(3 - 3(1) - 2) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Nahm and Tagawa weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisao Azuma, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Iwai, Satoshi Iwai and Raiden Okazaki.  

Round 1: 

Nahm finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Nahm lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Tagawa is looking to close the distance.  Nahm lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Tagawa quickly recovers. 
Nahm digs in a stinging right hook to Tagawa's ribs.  
Nahm sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Nahm switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Tagawa parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nahm lands a spiteful jab.  
Tagawa advances into close range.  Nahm lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Nahm clinches his opponent.  Nahm is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nahm to stop fouling.  
Nahm is on target with a cross.  
Nahm steps away from his opponent and lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Nahm is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Nahm lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING TAGAWA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Tagawa has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Nahm lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nahm tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tagawa gets on the inside.  Nahm lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Nahm tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nahm hits home with a solid cross.  
Nahm connects with a sharp cross.  
Nahm finds the target with a stinging jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tagawa's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Tagawa's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Tagawa gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nahm connects with a stinging right hook.  Nahm holds on to his opponent.  Nahm leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Nahm's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tagawa pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nahm is on target with a solid cross.  
Nahm steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Tagawa is on target with a cross.  
Nahm is looking to keep his distance.  Nahm feints a cross and triggers a right uppercut counter from Tagawa.  Nahm is waiting for the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Nahm hits home with a stiff jab.  
Tagawa is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Nahm in a neutral corner.  Tagawa pivots to the left of his opponent.  Tagawa throws a left hook, but Nahm holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Nahm's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Nahm lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS TAGAWA TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Nahm!
