Phornello Kakuwa vs Tamarius Mayaba

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson promoted show at Edwin Imboela Stadium, Lusaka,  taking place on 24/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Zambia-Lusaka Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Phornello Kakuwa (9 - 6) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Tamarius Mayaba(11 - 7) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Kakuwa weighed in at 241 pounds and 9 ounces, while Mayaba weighed in at 238 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mashawn Nkandu, and the three ringside judges are Luister Sibanda, Ben Chiputa and Ben Chiputa.
