Chase Baston vs Harry Scroggins

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Delmas Belisle, Delmas,  taking place on 10/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chase Baston (5 - 0) who hails from Carrefour, Haiti and Harry Scroggins(4 - 9(2)) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  Baston weighed in at 251 pounds And 11 ounces, while Scroggins weighed in at 239 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Franchot Castile, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Nolle, Germain Hinault and Boyce Courtellemont.  

Round 1: 

Baston sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Baston drives a right uppercut into Scroggins's ribs.  Baston clinches his opponent.  Baston tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Scroggins's kidney. 
Baston quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Baston tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a sharp overhand right.  
Baston is looking to close the distance.  Baston pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Baston steps to the outside.  Baston sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Scroggins throws a right hook, but Baston holds on to his opponent.  Baston is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Baston to stop fouling.
