Alekber Nasibov vs Liko Thong

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata,  taking place on 08/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alekber Nasibov (15(5) - 2) who hails from Jalilabad, Azerbaijan and Liko Thong(12(3) - 4) from Wenzhou, China.  Nasibov weighed in at 238 pounds and 4 ounces, while Thong weighed in at 226 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adnan Mirza, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Amer, Karan Vijay and Devdas Bahri.
