Chiamaka Korir vs Banji Barus

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Barmasai, Nairobi,  taking place on 14/03/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chiamaka Korir (12 - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Banji Barus(12 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Korir and Barus weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Mwirichia, and the three ringside judges are Paul Changeywo, Stuart Lone and Chris Birir.  

Round 1:
