Inigo Karai vs George Komon

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Sang, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Kenya-Mombasa Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Inigo Karai (6 - 4 - 1) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and George Komon(6 - 5 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Karai and Komon weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Wacera, and the three ringside judges are Tamarius Muthaura, David Beauttah and Gus Githongo.  

Round 1: 

Karai connects with a cross.  
Komon steps inside.  Karai sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Komon closes the distance.  Karai connects with a left hook.  
Komon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Karai switches the action to the outside and drives a jab into Komon's body.  
Komon is on target with a left hook.  
Karai is on target with a jab.  
Komon lands a left hook.  
Karai is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Komon walks Karai onto the ropes.  Karai digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Komon attempts to land a right uppercut, but Karai sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
