Rikki Callens vs Marien Kierlinc

Boxing Daily Report from the Pianim Promotions promoted show at Bruges Remaert, Bruges,  taking place on 15/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belgium-Flanders Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport10, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rikki Callens (5 - 3 - 3) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Marien Kierlinc(13 - 2) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both Callens and Kierlinc weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arend Gherstecore, and the three ringside judges are Rob Baus, Claudy Ollevyere and Justus Van de Zande.  

Round 1: 

Kierlinc is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Callens's ribs.  Kierlinc ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kierlinc pushes his forearm into Callens's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
