Juan Escobedo vs Frisco Moros

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bolivia-La Paz promoted show at Diego Espejo Gym, El Alto,  taking place on 15/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-La Paz Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Escobedo (5 - 2 - 4) who hails from La Paz, Bolivia and Frisco Moros(9 - 7 - 4) from El Alto, Bolivia.  Both Escobedo and Moros weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaver Curiel, and the three ringside judges are Quito Merlo, Reynaldo Gomez and Santiago Alire.  

Round 1: 

Moros steps inside.  Escobedo pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Escobedo attempts to land a left hook, but Moros blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Escobedo's body.  
Escobedo connects with a right hook.  
Moros lands a left hook.  
Escobedo steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Escobedo drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Escobedo switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Moros closes the distance.  Escobedo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Moros lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Escobedo's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Moros's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Moros quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Escobedo drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Escobedo switches the action to the outside.  Escobedo feints a left, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Moros gets on the inside.  Escobedo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Moros lands a right uppercut.  
Escobedo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Moros lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Escobedo lands a jab.  
Escobedo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Moros's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
