Hikaru Ito vs Aoi Nakada

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Dai Tano Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 15/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hikaru Ito (8 - 10 - 3) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Aoi Nakada(12 - 5) from Tokyo, Japan.  Ito weighed in at 112 pounds, while Nakada weighed in at 111 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Kibe, and the three ringside judges are Isamu Okimoto, Fumio Nakazawa and Kenji Sera.  

Round 1: 

Ito switches the action to the outside.  Nakada drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Ito throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Nakada is looking to close the distance.  Nakada quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ito dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Nakada is on target with a right hook to Ito's ribs.  
Nakada pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ito throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Nakada is looking to close the distance.  Ito pivots from in front of his opponent.  Nakada is on target with a left hook.  
Nakada throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

As Nakada tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ito dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ito.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.
