Michael Mundell vs John Noon

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringtime Championship Boxing promoted show at Wolverhampton Chahine, Wolverhampton,  taking place on 15/03/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Mundell (9 - 5 - 4) who hails from Manchester, UK and John Noon(11(1) - 0) from Manchester, UK.  Both Mundell and Noon weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Forgie, and the three ringside judges are Dave Palin, Shaun Halliburton and Owen Wallace.  

Round 1: 

Noon steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Noon pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Noon is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Noon advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Mundell in a corner.  Noon pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
