Chevy Mekongo vs Turiau Essombo

Boxing Daily Report from the Badalian Promotions promoted show at Maroua Etoo, Maroua,  taking place on 16/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cameroon-Extreme-Nord Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chevy Mekongo (8 - 0) who hails from Maroua, Cameroon and Turiau Essombo(8 - 6 - 3) from Maroua, Cameroon.  Mekongo weighed in at 239 pounds and 9 ounces, while Essombo weighed in at 233 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fabron Ndumu, and the three ringside judges are Sergeant Mabouka, Forrest Feydeau and James Courtellemont.
