Darragh McCracken vs Carl Malley

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 04/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Setanta Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darragh McCracken (4 - 9 - 4) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Carl Malley(2 - 3 - 2) from Dundalk, Ireland.  Both McCracken and Malley weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Healy, and the three ringside judges are Michael Corcoran, Killian Bourne and Aaron Hearn.  

Round 1: 

Malley digs in a right hook to McCracken's body.  McCracken clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks McCracken's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McCracken sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McCracken throws a right uppercut, but misses the target.  McCracken holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McCracken closes the distance.  Malley drives a right uppercut into McCracken's body.  
McCracken throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  McCracken ties up his opponent.  Malley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks McCracken's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Malley lands a right hook.  
McCracken closes the distance.  Malley sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McCracken digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Malley steps to the outside.  McCracken connects with a cross.  
McCracken lands a cross.  
McCracken advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
McCracken gets on the inside.  Malley lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Malley attempts to land a right hook, but McCracken blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
