Montana Alma vs Antonio Meraz

Boxing Daily Report from the Handila Promotions promoted show at Santiago de los Caba Sarinana, Santiago de los Caballeros,  taking place on 17/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montana Alma (15(3) - 2) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Antonio Meraz(7 - 5(1) - 2) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Both Alma and Meraz weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quin Conejo, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Laris, Isidro Munoz and Ivan Laris.
