Chris Koperau vs Rob Lawless

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Wellington Ngataierua, Wellington,  taking place on 16/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Wellington Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Koperau (11 - 2 - 4) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Rob Lawless(10 - 4 - 5) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Koperau and Lawless weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Murray, and the three ringside judges are Paul Redhead, Mark Dew and Mason Bethel.
