Farhan Galla vs Imran Ouda

Boxing Daily Report from the Eck Promotions promoted show at Giza Higazy, Giza,  taking place on 18/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Farhan Galla (9 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Imran Ouda(10(1) - 0 - 1) from Giza, Egypt.  Both Galla and Ouda weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Farran, and the three ringside judges are Azam Labib, Gazi Hamoudi and Amer Racid.  

Round 1: 

Ouda closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Ouda tries to land a right hook, but Galla blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ouda lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ouda dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ouda steps inside and walks his opponent into the red corner.  Ouda drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Ouda tries to land a right uppercut, but Galla blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ouda closes the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Galla blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Ouda's body.  
Ouda lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ouda lands a cross.  
Ouda is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Ouda is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Galla steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.

Ouda forces Galla to back into the ropes.  Galla wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ouda dabs at his face checking for damage.

Ouda steps inside and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Ouda clinches his opponent.  Ouda pushes his forearm into Galla's face.  The referee warns Ouda and breaks the clinch.  
Galla is looking to keep his distance.  Galla is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Ouda lands a sharp overhand right.  
Galla lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ouda is looking to close the distance.  Galla pivots to the side of his opponent.  Galla throws a left uppercut, but Ouda clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ouda connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Galla's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Galla's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
